Maybe I shouldn't have read this so early in the morning.......
http://www.usnews.com/articles/news/iraq/2008/03/12/are-iraq i-insurgents-=
emboldened-by-antiwar-reporting.html
of course there is the usual weaselling, as follows:
The city of Baghdad, for a variety of reasons, was excluded from the =
report. The authors contend that looking at the outside provinces, where =
65 percent of insurgent attacks take place, is a better way to =
understand the effect they have discovered. Other population centers =
like Mosul, Basra, Kirkuk, and Najaf were included in the study.=20
......which basically means that the answer is yes, definitely, but we =
don't want our media colleagues who are using this issue as grist for =
the Democratic party political agenda to look like complete and total =
dumbasses and we don't want to stir the pot by exposing the leftists and =
their hypocrital political shills whose quasi treasonous political =
posturing has given aid, comfort and inspiration to the enemy, =
encouraging them to fight on and has therefore caused the unnecessary =
deaths of thousands of American soldiers and Iraqi civillians so we =
won't include the city that would prove it beyond a shadow of any doubt =
at all.
......SHIT!!!........where's my coffee????
