My favorite line of the night was from Vince Gill...

"I just got an award from a Beatle.

You had that happen yet, Kanye?"

I'm just listening to the album now. Check out the song Edith and the
Kingpin with Tina Turner. Super nice vocal and track - sort of Steely
Dan-esque.

I liked the overall Amy Winehouse look.

what are you trying to tell us, doug? ;)

and, by the way, I didn't even watch the thing. I know neither this Amy nor
that crow. As far as my limited memory informs me, I don't believe I have
ever watched the Grammy's.

I get little bulletins in my myspace thing, and got one from Herbie (or rather
his web folk) about his award. He's always been an inspiration and marvel
in my book, and I know a few folk here are into his sort of music, and so
I posted the little notice of his grammy...
