Hi,
I have make some good tests with the variable compressor and deesser and
found that there are many artifacts due probably to the release knob.
There is not a way to make a good sounding deessing without hearing bubbling
distortion.
The variable compressor has a great sounding RMS switch !
But again the HOLD makes things worse with distortion artifacts.
Again the release for short to medium release times for a good compression
you always get these artifacts.
I am sure by using this great sounding RMS switch and finding a better release
resonse to overcome these distortion then these compressors woul be killer
!!!!
Please take all these comments as caring points for your work and for us
the users.
I would love to see these plugins develop.
I will still support you even with newer versions of the plugins I have bought.
Didn't I buy them all ??

The plugin you have sent to test dc really I see no more DC than Paris gates
!!

Please jote that most mono band compressor and multiband compressors have
the same dc problems.
So now you found a cure you could update those too.
I think also the the EQ4 but not really sure will check.

The metronome is a brilliant idea and great product you made !

Regards,
Dimitrios

Dear Mike,
Could you please add the knob RMS to paris stock compressors ???
Maybe just make RMS versions of it without having the switch so they can
be light on dsp and anyway we can load just the appropriatte compressor needed
either the EDSCompressor_RMS or EDSCompressor_PEAK

Thanks gain !!

Thanks for the feedback, Dimitrios. I really appreciate it. :)

I'll see what I can do about the release settings.

The driver's got me loosing sleep at the moment!

All the best,

Mike
