Guys, I have been having a problem for some time accessing the "newsgroup"
from my studio computer. I'm thinking the problem is on my end, as I have
no problem getting in from other computers elsewhere.

There are periods where I can get in to post without a problem, but increasingly,
the internet page freezes (ONLY on the newsgroup page). I cannot figure out
what causes it. I have Norton, as well as Webroot which show no viruses or
spyware, but the fact that this problem only occurs on the "newsgroup", only
on this computer gives it a virus type feel.

Incidentally, today was one of those rare days that I got in without an issue,
but even that could changes the next time I try to access this page.

Any thoughts anyone?

I have many of the same problems... and I know it is not me... cause I have
zero problems accessing anything else... this was also why I suggested
vbulletin in an earlier post... a few on here about wanted to start a fuss
just over the suggestion...

It won't be long before this will all move on to something else anyway... so
I suppose no one wants to move up to the twenty first technical century...
I occasionally weed thru the b.s. posted and hopefully find something worth
seeing that is Paris related... but that hasn't been too often lately... I
think the for sale side is really what keeps me coming back... But I too
will move on to something else soon.

I am at a point where I am willing to try some firewire options and linux is
looking promising more and more as I read and research. Drivers for the
components seem to be an issue on many items... but the linux audio gurus
are over coming that... Be nice to sink my windows into the trash forever
with the rest of the virii! Perhaps many don't want to believe it, but many
truly believe linux is the way of the future for computing and serious
audio...
