Hello all,
I just purchased a M-audio ProFire to mary up with our Alesis HD24 & Adat
XT.(32 channels) analog ..goin into a 56 channel Sounrac Ghost..
Now. With this new little baby (ProFire) ..By addingn the Profire(via 32
channels) of Light pipe...then Firewire into the computer.. 32 channels of
direct mixng on the console!! Not to mention, 32 input channels to record!!.
I've been saying this for a while now, since M-Audio updated their converters
starting with their Audiophile 192 PCI card, their audio interfaces sound
wonderful!!
I knwo we have a lot of RME fans, including me..But, M-audio drivers and
now soudn quality are right up there with the best of them.. And, I've heard
and use the best..
To think this unit is only $360.00!!!Bucks! Talk about price per performence.
Then, with any M-audio interface, you step into the Pro Tools world.
Great 3 way product..Pro Tools, VST, AU..Nice..Very Nice.. ANd Great driver
support..
