I lost your e-mail address a recent computer crash. Here's a link to MP3's
of my old bandmates.
http://www.itsaboutmusic.net:80/catalog/advanced_search_resu lt.php?keywords=Space&osCsid=3f159f95cc02a314b1298dda1b4 f9495&x=9&y=8

You had commented in the past on how you liked the music. This is the first
time their music has ever been available for download.

Scroll down to Space Opera. the first album was recorded in 1972. The second
one in 1998. It's fun to hear this stuff and remember when we used to try to
make a living covering only Byrds and Beatles material.
http://www.spaceopera.net/
On the second album, I'm especially smitten with Mother Nature-Father Time,
Stolen Ground, Vieux Carre and Blavatski.

I'm in the beginning stages of working with the surviving members of the
band with some new material.

Enjoy,

Deej

No way man. No band. No way. Not me. I was always too cantankerous to get
along in a band anyway.

I listened to several cuts. I enjoyed them all, but I liked "Holy River"
the best. Great guitar hook. I sometimes listen to "the old stuff." Its
scarry and wonderfull all at once. Thanks for the link.

Holy River was absolutely amazing to see them play in person. That lead
break is one guy on a 12 string electric tuned to 5ths. Scott could easily
outshred John McLaughlin on a 12 string electric, without even breathing
hard. I'll never forget the time that Space Opera opened for the Byrds and
played 8 miles high so well that the Byrds got pissed and dropped it from
their set that night.

If you want to hear something absolutely amazing, download the entire song
called Guitar suite and the song called Over and Over and hold on to your
hat.

Actually, the guitar solo starts at about 1.26 on the Over and Over clip,
so you can hear a good part of it online.

Holy River is my favorite out of all the clips.

Why does a song called "Guitar Suite" have so much harmonica
in it?

:D

I just listened to the clip of Holy River. It peters out before the guitar
solo. As a guitarist extraordanaire yourself, you'd probably enjoy it on a
technical level..

Hey, thanks. I did like what you sent me before a lot. I'm on my way to

You misunderestimate yourself Neil. I've heard your playing and I'd say that
it's totally nukular.

Thanks, man... sincerely, i mean that - i'm not trying to
exhibit false humility or anything like that, but honestly
I'm one of those who subscribe to the: "Do one thing, do it
well" kind of maxim... ask me to play some C&W licks & i'm at a
loss, for example. I'm OK in a certain few genres, but i know
my place. lol
