Dj..Keep us posted. You have peeked my interest in this platform. I do know
that both Euphonics and Fairlight uses the sharc dsp chips or eventhe newer
dolphon chips which are great dsps.. Personally, I love dsp systems.
I know people are all jacked for native systems, but without the proper dsp,
they've all lacked something..AND, It keeps you on the PC /Mac upgrade path
forever.. Which is dumb!! When you add ut all up , you have already paid
for a turn-key DSP system.

Exactly. And don't forget to put in the 'tune' time the poor souls on native
have to go through with every new system generally. I think another things
we're going to see more problems with is "automatic updates".. mac and win.
No good can come of that for audio guys.

I'm playing back this 40 track project in SX with the latency set to 3ms.
Cubase's CPU meter is sitting at around 40% but the system doesn't seem to
be even breathing hard. I would have had to up the buffers to at least 512k
to get a dependable playback with the RME cards.

That's very good news..
I'm glad that Pulsar and the investors never gave up on their DSP solution.
Even with the pressure of the Pro Native market to just "keep upgrading "
your computer folks. This is where Paris could've landed..
The way I see it is this:
1) You can do the Pulsar/Paris combo and keep everything (In the Box)..
2) Paris-SX/Logic/DP, Pro Tools..and a Mixer (Analog or Digital).
Both with improve the summing of any DAW by leaps and bounds..
