So I've gone out of town and decided to take a scaled down
version of my rig to do some mixing.
Previous settup:
4 EDS
2 MEC
PARIS 3.0 all clocked with GenX
I've brought with me 1 MEC and planned to use the internal clock.
Hooked everything up and I get error intializing PARIS engine.
No interface connected to master card.I've also gotten a 18/12
error.
In the Paris.cfg file I noticed MasterOutput Card=0.Should the 0
be an actual number(1 maybe)?
Any help?
Guess I should just not mess with the rig when its working.
TIA,
Pete

I've got 1 ADAT in the mec,but I don't thik this is the
problem.
I installed 1 EDS and it was saying not enough free resources.
I was getting gcCreateControl:ran out of controllers.[0/0}
Still wondering if I had my word clock would I have had these
issues at all;should of remembered to bring the damn thing.

Hi Curt,
On XP here.I've now got 1 EDS ,took out the ADAT card from the
MEC.I'm about to take out the other 8in and 8 out and try that.
Its looking like I'm going to have trouble getting a 1EDS
stripped down MEC running.
When I try and open a default project it says there aren't
enough resources.Guess I might have to do a fresj install.
Thanks,
Pete

Is your EDS card in a PCI slot that is sharing resources with
something else? Check your IRQ's
David.

Checked the IRQs;all is good. When I have 1 EDS installed it
intializes, but then gives me I/O is different than before.Hit ok
it gives me same error, hit ok again then gives me error creating
default project adn a new project will be opened. Then I get
not enough resources and the gcCreateControl error.
If I have all 4 EDS cards in I just get "no interface connected
to master card"when intializing.Still wondering if having my
wordclock connected would fix this.
Thanks,
Pete
