I turn on my DAW, light up all of the digital stuff...it all syncs up within
5 seconds, I record enable a track, set up Groove agent on a stereo bus as a
click track, hit record and .....and.....and.... and every thing just works.
There's really nothing more to it.

I'm so used to going through a ritual that involved sacrificing a chicken at
some point upon the occasional full moon, sticking needles in little cloth
dolls, etc., that I'm downright bored. I should be happy about this. I am
soooo used to being challenged. Maybe when I get my new mobo in here and
start configuring my slave DAW via system link, setting up external
instruments, etc. I can wail and gnash my teeth a bit.

I think I need some serious psychological help.

Get a new Mac, that would be a challenge for you! But once you found out
how easy it is to use and how maintenance free it is, you'd probably commit
suicide; )

I told you! Isn't it weird to keep thinking you need to restore a ghost
image and then going.....hmm, no I don't, I can just make music.

Hey DJ
Perhaps this could satisfy the itch for things complex:
SPL = 20 log (P1/P0), where P0= 20 µ Pa.

At least it's an audio equation :-))
