Hello,

i'm waiting for my first paris (such a strange idee in 2006...), and study
the docs.

i wonder if it's usable when using virtual mixes as subgroups : working on
one submix, swap on an other so on , and mixdown with the master mixer....
with only one EDS.
Is it long to set a mix from EDS to virtual and update it ?

does most paris user have succesfully migrate to XP ?

thanks

Welcome aboard Damien, I'm sure you'll have a blast with Paris. Where are
you from?

Yes. That's why most folks use multiple card systems.

> does most paris user have succesfully migrate to XP ?

I don't know. XP has advantages and disadvantages. If you are needing to use
native plugins that won't work in Win 9x, then XP is an advantage. I think
there is a bit of a difference in the sound of Paris when ruinning on XP. It
doesn't sound bad, just a little different. XP is a more stable OS than Win
9x overall so that is an advantage sometimes, though not an issue for me
personally.

OTOH, if you are needing a larger system with more than one ADAT module per
MEC, forget using XP. It is very difficult (I won't say impossible) to get
more than one ADAT module per MEC to work.
