HI DJ,
Yes but it may be more up to th motherboard. Sometimes the chip set
makers will do stupid stuff.

Bigger drive=more data to lose...

NForce 3 for me. I'm running two GA-8NS-Ultra 939's. These are just about
the most bulletproof mobos I've ever seen with UAD-1 cards. One is running
an Opteron 185, the other an 64 x 2 4400. Both running 2GB Corsair XMS RAM
Getting ready to upgrade the CPU on my second one to an Opteron 185. Maybe
I'll add one more RAM stick to each one and do the 3 stick "switch". Do you
think it would do me any good to go to 4 x sticks and XP 64 or Server 2003?

Until a "LOT" more is accomplished in terms of Steiny getting current with
monster CPU's, I figure I'm gonna stay where I am.

HI DJ,
You should be OK using 4x 1gig sticks and xp64.
Server 2003 won't work any different.
You do not need the 3gig switch when using XP64.
