I wouldn't trash Emu just because Paris couldn't survive. Emu didn't really
have the money or resources to run with Paris anyway - I am guessing
Creative just said "okay, give it a try, but if it doesn't make money
instead of costing money, it's done."

I have an Emu Audity 2000 - great rack synth. I have no intention of
selling it. Emu may not be running wild with cutting edge soft-synth and
hardware synth technology, but they do what they do, and it is a niche for
them.
