Hey there-

I think I read a post here from you recently that you're running BFD and
GS3 on seperate boxes from your main DAW.

I've got both programs and some extra machines here so I/m thinking about
doing the same thing. What's your approach? FX teleport, soundcards on each
machine, rewire, vsti system link (or whatever Steinberg calls it), etc, yada
yada, yada?

Thanks much,
Jon

Hi Jon,

Well my appraoch is pretty simple..I treat each vsti PC as a midi module
rack..That is:

- Vst PC1 Runs Vstack-Synths
- Vst PC2.Runs Drums (BFD,DKFH-CV,Stylus RMX, Battery .... .All connected
to a
Motu 8x8 midi patch bay

- Vst PC3 Runs Proteus X...var
- Giga PC ........................Strings .Giga Libs
-All PCs except one have the M-Audio Audiophile 192 card and the Giga PC
use the RME Digi 96 PST...

All Vsti & Giga PC are patched into a mackie 1620 Onyx mixer.........then...Firewire
into My Main Recording DAW........

* All midi modules are connect to Midi patchbays...
