No worries, you didn't waste my time. I didn't find FOS immediately
convincing but it was interesting to learn more about them.
Does it bother you when other Canadians point out the special interest
affiliations of FOS?
Are you curious about the lack of actual relevant data behind FOS claims?
Or the exaggeration of a supposed scientific opposition while ignoring
mainstream science?
Or the spin and misdirection on their "myths/facts" page?
Setting aside the oil industry connections for now, and the appeal to
authority they attempt to make, we can look at their "myths/facts" one
at a time if you like. I glanced through them and most of them appear to
be straw men arguments. A few are flat contradictions of the actual facts.
Seriously, in the context of what we do know, FOS isn't offering enough
to hang a hat on.
Cheers,
-Jamie
