Hello everyone,

I miss the PARIS converter sound very much and I'm looking for ways to incorporate that sound into my modern workflow.

1. Is there any way to use any of the different PARIS converters as an AD/DA without using an EDS100 card?

2. How is the ASIO working today? Anyone using PARIS converters via ASIO in Studio One?

3. Is anyone running a separate side computer just for running audio through PARIS, as a simple way to pass audio through into something else?

HI Will

1. Not sure

2. Pretty sure the ASIO can be used to "feed" other DAWs.

3. I have one setup with Paris MEC from PC feeding Metric Halo ULN8-3D into Mac via SPDIF (to Studio One or Mixbus 32c). I configure the Main Mix out of Paris in the Patch Bay.
I use this in order to load a Master Bus chain on the Paris Mix. Also allows me to sync to the WC on the ULN8 (which I think is cleaner/tighter than the MEC).
Sometimes I'll also run out from the ULN8 into external gear via Insert in the Mac DAW.

Best

Ted
