Yes indeed.. He is he reason I wanted to get into music. He was the GodFather
of Soul & Funk. A true innovator..

Well if that doesn't just ruin Xmas 2006 I don't know what will. Damnit. I
saw him half a dozen times over the past 15 years or so and at an age when
most musicians have thrown in the towel on nostalgia tours (seen CSNY recently?
'scuse me while I barf) he still did an incredible show and had the tightest
effin band you can imagine.

That just sucks,
