To be honest, The Synclav sound quality has not been top still today. With
a Sampling rate @ 50k. I would get one if I had the available bucks. The
sequencer is second to none as well as it's synthesis Fm on steroids.!! :)

But they still sound great. One of my best friends has had one since the
80s--he just had it rebuilt and will be the centerpiece of his home scoring
studio. And this guy is the Dean of Music Technology at Berklee with access
to all the latest and greatest...

OK, so if you're looking for a system of that nature, how would
it compare to let's say a Korg Oasys, which can be had for $7k-
$8k?
