It's really quite nice. With so many machines starved for PCI slots the firewire
interface is great.
The only thing I wish they would improve is the interface. The UAD thing,
a photo version of the actual device, would be best, but at least in the
manual they should have pictures of the originals and explanations about
how to use the plugs. Things like a Pultec is not always easy to get one's
head around. I'm working on getting pics of everything next to where I mix
so I'll have a reference.

P.S. Also, I don't have many of the originals, but I'll say this, the damn
thing sounds great and the different models sound different. It isn't 12
variations on a theme.
