The proteusX piano is fantastic, I can't believe it's that good for the =
cheap bucks it was. However, you want a pretty strong CPU and RAM to run =
it.. I put mine into an XP2400 rig with a GB of RAM, and that chokes up =
a bit on loading the samples, though it runs them. Latency on the card =
in real time play is decent at best, but I usually have it sequenced and =
can just shift it back into sync after a lock/record pass. I don't =
really care much for the pigtail thing, and wouldn't use it live over =
that, but if the box just sits I s'pose it's ok.=20

I'd forgotten about using the VST stuff in Paris - I keep my Paris rig =

ten about using the VST stuff =
in Paris -=20
I keep my Paris rig free of pretty much anything but Paris and a few =
audio apps=20
to edit with. I fooled a little with those VST's and decided they were =
ok, but=20
it would be more hassles to patch them in through hardware to Paris so I =
left it=20
there. </FONT></DIV>

------=_NextPart_000_0094_01C5EBC0.3E3472C0--I got the hot lips treatment back around 1966 in a rehearsal session.
Knocked my ass halfway across the room. I haven't been the same since. It
ranks right up there on the paranoia meter with a head on collision I was
involved in when I was in the passenger seat and wasn't wearing a seat belt.

Fenders.

Churches are the one group who far too often cut corners
they shouldn't... all in the name of saving money. Can't
remember how many times I've seen clear and present Danger
in Church wiring jobs. We have actually declined to work on
some of them if they won't go for our "minimum spec".

house, my phone got cut off...

....but not really, because just half an hour earlier I'd punched in the
config for the VOIP! I still had a phone where I could call everyone and
pay the bills to get the phone reconnected! :o)

I haven't been able to notice any quality difference at all as of yet, but
I am using the world's cheapest worst quality wireless handset to do the
tests. ;o) Still, the fact that the delay isn't noticable is a start.

I'm stoked! :o)

Cheers,
Kim.I didn't know.... thanks Dimitrios!
