Jamie I'm looking for the best Logic Audio user group.
I've been looking for a new replacment for PARIS and have looked at native
solutions on both Mac and PC and keep coming back to Mac only software.
Cubase was the last cross-platform product that I ruled out. So its either
Logic or DP
running on a Mac Intel 2.0ghz dualcore Macbook. I had planed to build a
PC
Dualcore Intel box,but after pricing it out I realized that they were about
the same price give or take $100 and seeing I want to run Aperture(another
Mac only product)
I t seems like a good move for me.(I 'll be doing mostly solo artist.) This
should
get me by until the 8 core system hit the market.

respect

Hey Nappy,

Sounds like a nice system.

I don't know what the best Logic forum is, but here's one: Used to be
"OSXAudio.com" but is now http://www.bigbluelounge.com/forums/index.php

There are forum areas for Logic, DP and other stuff.

Cheers,
-Jamie

Thanks Jamie,
This looks like the perfect place to get the information I'm looking for.
Right now I'm looking at Logic with a Alpha Track and Live and a Trigger
Finger with
a M-Audio Firewire 410 and Maybe add M-Powered Pro Tools for Industry compatiblity.
all together this should be a nice system

respect
Nappy

This is also worth checking out. The original and largest LUG.

P.S. I love Aperture.

Hi Nappy
I've been using the Delta 1010 with Nuendo for over a year now, I don't
think you'll be disappointed with the M-Audio stuff.
Still can't get into the Pro Tools interface though...it seems so bland
looking.

This isn't a UG, but it's a great way to learn about a few different programs
including Logic. I've used them for DVD Studio Pro and Motion and they're
really
good. You don't have to buy the whole bundle, it's also broken up into 3
components. Really good value in my opinion..
