Hi all,

A while back I posted that my Brian T PARIS DVD was stolen with my laptop
from my studio.

Could someone in the group please create a copy and send it to me at
Guy Eckelberger
555 International Way
Springfield, OR 97477

or make the image and upload it to ftp.gyefinger.com?

Gye, as the creator of the DVD material I should probably say that most ppl
paid for it and you should offer something to whomever might be kind enough
to help you out with it. That being said, if someone does want to send a
copy it is completely protection free ( I did this on purpose), can be
copied and I'd find no offense whatsoever with helpin' a dude out.

is that what we've been reduced too? Giving our hard work away?

You deserve the money for every freaking copy. If anyone makes a copy for
him, he should send YOU the money.

If so, then could I just go ahead & make this a formal request
for a copy of every CD that everyone on the newsgroup has made?

:)

Like my late Uncle use to say...
Be careful what you ask for....

I should just mention...

I assume this is the dude who emailed me. He said that he bought a copy but
it has been misplaced. He said that Chuck would be able to verify that he
paid for it, but I get the impression that he would probably be willing to
pay again anyhow if it came to that.

So, without verifying with Chuck, my understanding is that he already contributed.
That's all based on what he told me of course, so who knows. I would guess
that he will contibute if required anyhow. I think he just used to have a
copy, you can no longer officially buy them, and he wants to get a copy again
somehow. I don't think there's any ill intent.

Cheers,
Kim.

I appreciate the concern for my efforts and art. Truly, I do. Gives me the
fuzzies :)

However, any way you cut it Chuck left the reins in my hands and I'm not
making/selling them... so, basically I was just saying although I don't have
any to sell I really don't care either way to be honest. Hook the dude up,
anyone.
That's the official word.

That DVD was a lot of work, but it was a love labor on my part and frankly
all I cared about was to cover my expenses, help fund the Skunkworks effort
and the side bonus was the ultra cool hang time with BT. Brian wouldn't take
a dime, and his gift was his time/knowledge in case anyone didn't know. He
is truly a great dude. After all this time I just couldn't see charging for
a dead platform how to video that was years old to boot. I don't see a new
one being made at this point, so there is nothing to update. Maybe someday
"soon" will come, but I'm not holding my breath.

Copy on with my blessings, Paris users. I saw this day coming, that's why I
didn't protect it.

Hey, Not to necro post. I just got done re-buying all the plugins from my rebuild.

I really was one of the main supporters of the cause and also donated to the skunkworks.

I really did have my studio broke into and the laptop had my DVD in it.

I would gladly pay again if that is what is needed. I just want the content back. Can someone make an ISO or something? I would gladly pay you if that is what is needed.

Even though my 2 MEC 2 controller set is old running on 95 it is a workhorse and I have not really found a good replacement so I wil use it until it dies---I also just purchased all the plugins again!!

I jsut want to get my setup back.
