I don't know Thad, many hard core Live users I know, who uses Live to Track
sessions with it (No elastic audio)..They say it's sounds too vanilla. so,
they import the session to Pro Tools to mix which has a very nice mid-top
end sound (with the same m-audio) audio interface.
To my ears, when I have to work in Sonar, it's the same bland sound..We take
the tracks, import to Nuendo to mix..
