I will say, however, that my experience with it had to do with my writing
the manual for it: it worked in my tests, as far as they needed to go to
document the card; I also consulted with Ensoniq's engineers on things I
couldn't test here.
I didn't use it in my own musical work after the manual was done, since I
had no need. It's possible you know more about the card than I do at this
point.

Well, it's still available if someone can use it and wants to make an offer.

for linking multiple EDS cards together? can you give me some idea of how,
or how much, this card was used, and in what type of environment? how old
is it?
ANY problems with it at all?

thanks so much---
looking forward to hearing from you---
most sincerely yours,
harry e.Basically, VITC is Vertical Integrated TimeCode, and it is T/C that is
incorporated into the Video Stream of the videotape.
We're talking "Pro Videotape" machines here.

It is the eds1000 card, I purchased it about three years ago with version
3. Have never had any problems, less than 75 hours of use, in a non-smoking
bedroom studio. Used to track about 8 songs. I sold the other card I had
with the crossover cables for connecting to another card, so those are unavailable.
Hope this helps. Feel free to email me at joeyl@wgm.us.

thanks

ing forward to hearing from you---
>most sincerely yours,
>harry e.3 more things left! 1 eds card, 1 blue mec, 1 if2. Make me a deal! I'll let
all 3 things go a lot cheaper! Steve chambiprood@hotmail.com...but I'm lowering my prices even more to see if I can find a home for the
rest of my PARIS stuff. So:
1 pair of C-16s (that's two C-16s) -- $75 plus shipping. These are blackface
units with Version 3 labels added. It's hard to believe that it wouldn't
be worth having a few spares around in a hard-working PARIS studio. Pots
need a little cleaning, but they're otherwise fine.
1 SMPTE card -- $100 o.b.o. plus shipping. Does anyone have need of one of
these cards? Make an offer. There's some debate about how well they work,
but I'm into making it painless for someone to give one a try.
1 IF-442 -- $40 plus shipping.
Will ship to US or Canada. Contact robbyberman@mac.comSo I guess the question is will it sync Paris to smpte TC generated by
another computer
