Hey Guys & Gals.. I need to ghost my System drive. I have Symantec's Ghost.
But, I don;t have a floppy drive on this computer to boot the ghost program.
Is there a way to :

-Create a bootable CD for Cdrom access both Ghost a drive ?

You'll have to create a CD that runs a floppy emulation. It is possible,
easy, etc. make it a 2.88 emu or you won't have room for the app and other
files.

Hey LaMont,

I use BartPE (http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/) at work where we are constantly
imaging machines. It's a slightly involved process to get the CD made, but
it's not that tough. If you like I can send you one of ours, just email me
your address.

Hi Lamont,
I believe the newest Ghost can create bootable CDs. Not sure though
sense I used for a a couple years now.

You can build a Bart PE image and use the Ghost 8.o plug ins as long as
you own 8.0.

This is one of the coolest programs by the way. Probably the most
powerful tech tool out there.

Email is my initials (at the bottom of all of my posts, that lovely little
circled a, then thadbrown followed by a dot and a top level domain suffix
that begins with c and ends with an m.
