Dear Tom your email address still bounces so I am copying my last email here
while this can be of some help to others too !
First to make paris stable as it gets.
1) You have to MOVE (but you can better copy and to leave what you have
as it is, you can delete later) to c root
Copy your Paris Pro folder at c: so it will look like c:/Paris Pro. If
you have a desktop shortcut make a new one . You better rename the
folder to just Paris so it looks like c:/Paris
2) Go to the system and see if your drives have UNTICKED the "Enable
write caching on the disk", remember to UNTICK them. You can do that on
your audio harddisks only or and on your c too.
3) Remember to use "background services" and System cache for memory usage.
4) Now DISABLE DX support on your Paris cfg or you can disable this on
Project Paris window ...
5) Use the vst version of any plugins you have .
If you happen to have waves plugins there is a neat free audio program
that can make vst indivindual plugins from waves waveshells.
6) Put all your vst's on root again.
That means to REINSTALL your vst plugins in the directory: c:/VST
7) Use your Chainer vst wrapper to open your vst plugins.
8) You can make a default project with all youer adio tracks having a
chainer already loaded where inside can be faderworks too !!
9) If you have to use DX like autotune and others use the FREE FFX4 dx
wrapper that loads inside chainer and from inside it you can load any DX
plugin.
I am sure all the above will make your Paris more stable than before.
I will send you some Pulsar projects to make you started.
Regards,
Dimitrios
