What would it be?
Every Sunday night, I co-host a radio show called "Night Rock" on a
regional radio station here in town.
This Sunday, Geoff will be calling in, so I can ask him anything I'd
like.
In fact, Pamela Moore, aka Sister Mary, will be live in the studio
with us -- she moved to the Chicago area several years ago and has
been in with us a couple of times already. Last time, she brought
homemade chocolate chip cookies.
So, do you, as a prog rock kinda guy, have anything you'd like to
know?
Hell, for that matter, if any of you have a question....
I'll be happy to ask him and report back on the answers.
In two weeks, we'll have Peterik in the studio and Joe Lynn Turner on
the phone.
This is a sweet gig. Doesn't pay, but it's still a sweet gig.

So, I asked him.
He said he was a little busy right now, but thanks....
;-P
He was actually a very good interview. Well-spoken, cordial.
It didn't hurt to have Pamela in the studio with us to chat about
stuff. She and Tate had quite a bit to talk about.
By the way, they will be starting recording on a new Queensryche album
in March, probably to be released Jan of 09. According to Geoff,
it'll be another Mindcrime-style concept album, but with a completely
different theme.
Cool.

It was recorded -- I should have a copy this Sunday. We've been
discussing putting every week up as a podcast -- well, more of an mp3
download.
My thinking is to break the show into 3 1-hour segments, editing out
the commercials. A 3-hour mp3 is a big chunk to download, and a big
chunk to scan through.
Our problem is our assistant hasn't been real motivated to burn the
shows to cd. I just volunteered to come in and do it, since I'm
motivated and have DAW experience. I've got friends in a bunch of
states who want to hear the show.
I'll know more this week. Either way, I'll make sure you get a copy.

I said, "Geoff, I've got a friend in Texas who's a prog-rock musician
and a huge QR fan. I emailed him and asked him if there was anything
he'd like me to ask you.
He said, "Yes, ask him if he'd sing lead on all the songs on my
current project."
I told him that wasn't quite what I meant, but I said I'd ask anyway."
He laughed, said, Well....."
