Anybody got tricks for making this happen in the most efficacious and expeditious
way?

HI Jon,
Wavelab versions 3 and higher can do it. it will even batch convert
them. Also I think there is a shareware app that just does that but
forget what it's called.
You can get the current version of wave lab pretty cheap if you own any
other current audio apps. They offer a cross-grade that is about half
the price of the full app.

What about the "paf to wav" convertor widget? Ain't that still up on
one of the Paris archive sites... Let me see... (off to rummage
around in dusty folders)... Chas.
