Waaaa! My 12 year old Windows 98 Pentium PARIS machine is apparently dead of motherboard failure. I'm in the middle of a paid project w/deadlines, so I have limited time to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, I also have limited funds. Should I try and replace this old motherboard? Build a new Win98 or XP machine on the cheap? I'd love a fast new dedicated machine, but like I said, funds are limited. I have an older XP machine I could re-purpose, but I'd have to steal it back from my roommate who needs it for school. What's a mother to do?

Love,

Sarah
