Hey,

DigiMAX 96K... any opinions on this unit (not the LT or FS)? Looking
for 24 channels of "reasonable" pre for location recording.

Only thing I know about the Digimax is that a friend of mine
had one of the older ones & he complained about lack of
headroom. Don't know if that's been addressed in the newer
units.

But Dave, check out the MOTU 8Pre, too... I picked up one of
those awhile back - mainly for toms - and it sounds pretty dang
clean to me.

I have three Digimax FS and between them and the RME 9652 audio card I bought,
those are the two best hardware devices I have ever bought. Simply fantastic.
It is possible to clip before the light comes on if you have really fast
transients, so use your ears, the sound is fantastic and I have not had
one hiccup in 6 months.

Had a look... won't work, I need analog outs to feed the Digi 192's.
