Hi Everybody,

Someone named New Venture Services Corp has picked up the myparispro.com
domain and registered it through December 2006.

I hope Chuck is ok. I noticed that greatidea.com has been down for over
a month now.

with the cost of shipping today...are you nuts??? ;o)

well here's what been done so far.
1. tested each stick of ram and one (3 times) failed to boot. removed
that from the equation and the rig ran long enough for a new tiger
install plus some drivers and was shut down till the next day. it
wouldn't post.
2. replaced main drive with a new drive and rig still wouldn't post.
(no boot chime)
3. replaced logic board battery and did pm reset several times spaced
about 10 minutes apart. still won't post
4. cpu cooling fan comes on after about 15 seconds and stays on; still
no post.
5. discussed this with the apple repair facility this morning for
about an hour going over all the happenings and the consensus
is...it's one dead mofo.
6. got 20 acres and i'm taking my little buddy hunting out back for
some shooting lessons.

you betcha! i did scavenge parts we could test and i'm giving them to
a friends son (most everything but that "special one month only
production logic board) for the use of his as the engineer here has 3
unfinished projects. his mac by the by had also just expired (his
boot drive failed) so i got his up and running and will see if i can
get his med school stuff off it on to another drive.

300 Magnum, .06, 12 ga. 45 acp .44 Magnum would work. I say line um up,
charge people 50 bucks to shoot, there is a lot of people that hate Macs!
If you put this on the internet with your story, I'm sure you could get
quite a few people to show up. Hey, I might even come out for that. You
could turn this in to a media event, Apple would hate to get a black eye
right now. Do a pay for view on the net. Like I said before, you need to
start a web site like "my Mac sucks.com". You could ask for donations for
legal fees on your web site.

I would still contact Apple's legal department and tell them they need to
repair or replace the whole system, or face litigation. You never know!

OK everybody, listen up! I talked to Chuck today on the phone. He's going
to send me everything. I don't know how soon, but it looks like it WILL
happen. Once I get everything, I'll be putting the plugs up on ParisFAQs
for download. I also hope to fix the bugs in Eventiter and Nolimit. Stay
tuned!

I don't want to say too much yet, but I'm working on a foot controller that
will work with the Looperlative and other devices. Once I'm done with that,
I'll get back to the Paris hardware drivers...
