Hey all. The forums may not be totally ready-to-go yet, but they could
be useful to generate email notifications of driver updates.
Here's how you can use it today:
1) Go to the forums and login (you'd need to register if you aren't
already and make sure you're using a valid email address). The forums
are at - http://kerrygalloway.com/ParisForums/
2) Once you're at the forum's main page, go into your user control
panel (it's near the top of the page, just below the black header);
once you're in there, click the "Account Settings" pane and make sure
you've turned your preferred notification method on. Your options are
"select notification by default" (make sure this is set to "yes") and
"choose notification method" (choose "email"). Naturally you can turn
these off whenever you like.
3) Leave your user control panel and return to the forum's main page.
Now click the forum marked "PARIS Projects" (but don't click on any
topics inside it yet).
4) In the text above the topic listings on the left you should see the
word "Subscribe". Click to "Subscribe" to the "PARIS Projects" forum.
Once you're subscribed, you should receive immediate email
notifications of additions to the "PARIS Projects" forum, which is
where Mike will be posting the driver updates. As an alternative to
step 5, once you get to step 4 you'll find there are also links at the
bottom right of the "PARIS Projects" forum page for RSS or syndication.
