Sorry if this is a basic question.

I just installed Wavelab Essential to do some mastering.Do I need
to get a soundcard or can I use the PARIS hardware with the ASIO
driver for Wavelab?

If I can use the PARIS hardware does the Paris app need to opened
to do this.

Sorry for the rudimentary questions, but its late and I don't feel
like thinking.

Thanks,
Pete

There exists an ASIO driver, but I don't think it's ready to use. A few ppl
have been able to do so, but many more had shaky to no luck. Get a card,
save yourself the hassles.

At Creative you can pick up EMU refurbs with warranties, 79 on the 0404 and
159 including shipping on the 1212m(this one uses the same A/D D/A chips as
PTHD).
