Is there a Paris vidio anywhere for tips on recording? I thought a while back
I saw something on the forum regarding a vidio....

As in mic placement etc.?

I don't remember any video per say.

But The Womb ( http://womb.mixerman.net/index.php ) is planning to begin a
"how to" series on recording various instruments and if I understand
correctly eventually move on to the various aspects of mixing.

The reason I mention this is because I'm pretty sure I am doing the first
"how to" on recording drums today (killing two birds in one recording
session) and depending on how in depth the Engineer wants to get we could
easily be shooting tomorrw...at least that's what I've been told.

We did it today while I was recording my drum tracks for CaPE V at The Womb

Did a few shots of me "sound checking" and playing but most of it will be
discussions with the AE at the board discussing the reasons behind mic
choice, placement and routing.

Not sure when it will be up but I'll keep you informed
