I have Cubase SX3 running on my slave computer and Cubase 4 running on my
Master DAW. They are sync'ed using systemlink and I am a happy camper right
now.......sooooo.....since everything is working nicely, the thought
occurred to me that since I'm interfacing my Houston controller with the
master DAW via midi.........and since samesaid Houston controller can
interface with Cubase by it's USB port as well, it may just be my duty to
interface the slave DAW running Cubase SX3 in order to see what happens.

Best case scenario.......all tracks on both DAWs are recognized in some sort
of sequence by the Houston controller.

Worst case scenario.....????

;o)

Houston controls the same tracks on each DAW at the same time, you create a
midi loop,
and *WHAMMMO*...

"...uh...Houston.... we have a problem.."

I've noticed that one of our willow trees has recently moved to the left
about eight feet.

Actually, the USB port takes precedence over the midi ports. I had the USB
port interfaced with the slave and the midi ports interfaced with the
master. Even with the Houston disabled on the slave, the midi ports would
not function on the master. That's about as exciting as it got. shux......I
figured I'd at least get to smell some smoke.
