EDS500 card for tracking only? [message #93635]

I have a chance at picking up an EDS500 card.

Since my mobile rig is only used for tracking, and all mixing is done at
home, would I be OK replacing one of my two EDS1000 cards with the 500, thereby
releasing one of the 1000's for the home mixing rig?

My thinking is that the tracking rig won't use any efx anyway.

The EDS500 card can ONLY be used stand alone. The ribbon cable
interconnects are on the daughter card (missing on the '500).

Well, crap. I knew it sounded too good to be true. I guess I wasn't paying
that close of attention when I hooked my cards together.

Unless someone has a daughtercard lying around they don't need anymore....
