For any fans of modular synths, I was just poking around the Clavia G2
Product pages and found a freeware demo of their modular synth
software. The cool thing is that you don't need their hardware to hear
the patches, and it appears you can modify and save the mods.

I don't know if this is crippled in any way other than being a
mono-voice synth. Even if it is, it appears to come with an awful lot
of nice samples and tools for playing around.

It is about 7.7MB download. Check it out.
