That's what I was starting to suspect. I mean it seems to be working fine.
I can see no evidence that it's falling back to battery backup or anything.
Power seems to be getting through and everything seems to be working fine.
I'm guessing maybe it's a case of fluctuations over voltage which are then
getting reduced back down by the UPS. Perhaps the voltage is just a little
higher in my street than it was.
My uncle is an electrician and dropped by on the weekend and commented that
the wiring is pretty average in my house. It is an old place I guess...

there for a
little while & monitor it & see if some variance is happening
with the voltage when the relay clicks in & out. Or if you've
got a voltmeter, you could just do it yourself.

panned left. A dry mix of the song is already up there. This one will

some idea of how the tracks translate to a mix with panned reverbs,
processed drums, etc. The tracks that were recorded with the SE3's are
being lightly processed with a pair of Distressors a Quantec Yardstick
and
the Paris non-linear reverb in this mix.
I figured it might be nice to hear how they sound in a finished mix

(at least I think it's close to finished ;o)

In my post below "OK.....soo I'm trying something old here*, I described the
gear I was using to mix this project. One thing that I added after this post
was a Sony MUR-201 reverb on the entire drum submix......so, with the
exception of Paris reverbs and EQ, this entire mix was done using analog
compressors and EQ and outboard FX processors.
I'm already second guessing a few things, but I always do that. Any
critiques would be welcome here.

get to work. The system runs rock solid without
the adat card. However, when I put the adat card in, I get nothing but error
18/12 on Paris boot. I'm running Windows XP. Now, I have simply tried everything.
The only way the adat card works is if it's in the 6th slot, and no other
cards are installed. Then Pairs boots up just fine. I have tried every possible
slot configuration of the cards and nothing. I have tried different SCSI
cables, different MECs (also blue faced), and nothing. I've also tried reinstalling
the subsystem and reinstalling before I tried each different slot configuration.
I have also reinstalled paris from the ground up several times. I'm at a
total loss. I'm not trying to run the adat card to sync it to adats (I know
that doesn't work in XP), but rather to sync it to my RME card on my other
machine running cubase. Any ideas? Please help!

LuizI forgot to mention that I'm using a Magma chassis with 8 EDS cards. I just
tried to run the MEC from just one EDS card in the computer and it worked
just fine, so it must be a Magma issue, I guess.

tried, but who's going to try, unless they happen to recognise the web interface
as DNews and work it out, but that's not going to be many.
On the Web interface Groups button front I would have a few different options.
One would be to remove the groups button altogether to isolate the groups.
This would work, but would mean no groups button, and I for one use it a
lot, and imagine others do also. Another option would be to simply put a
warning on the Groups page explaining that the server hosts both sites, and
some groups are from one and some the other.
Or, I could simply not share the server (other than the web hosting) which
would keep everyone out of hear, which I am, I must admit, inclined to do,
but it seems a waste.

I'm OK with this just as long as you make their posts editable by the users
here without their knowing what is going on, This way, we can sneak over to
