Hello all,
I recently moved to NYC from Atlanta. Before leaving Atlanta, my paris 3.0
worked flawlessly. Well.. after unpacking I noticed that the 'internal'
light on the If 442 begins blinking as soon as the computer boots up with
the green input 1 light flashing randomly at a slower pace. I am able to
initialize Paris fine but when going to the patchbay, there is no If 442.
Ive read and researched for weeks about what could be wrong but I havent
seen any solid resolution. I dont know if folks eventually figured it out.
Ahh.. its a shame. I dont want to start over as Ive learned and loaded
Paris up to a point where I can make pros sounding mixes etc.. Im running
XP on a Compaq I dont know maybe 3 yrs old. Ive moved the card around..
re installed Paris..
I guess if no one knows the fix.. Ill have to move on and start over. If
thats the case, is there any other system that allows you to do 'submixes'?
And hows that Emu audio system?
thanks..
