Wayne and Mike,
Thanks for the responses on this as always, I think I'm going to give it
a shot to upgrade to v3.0. Sounds like the aux 1 issue you talked about
in your earlier post to my main post on this subject is also happening to
me. It's weird, it only happens sometimes, which forces me to close the
project and then reopen it again and it goes away. (regarding the aux 1
audio bleed into all channels). I think thats what you were referring to,
and you said this issue is fixed in v3.0. You also mentioned that I will
be able to Disc Bounce to .wav directly without having to do a paf-wav convert
in Sound Forge, that's a nice feature.

Hi John,
Yes . . . the aux bleed problem you sometimes get is exactly what I
sometimes got in v2.2 on XP and yes it does not exist in v3.0.
Close . . . the disc bounce is still the dual mono .paf mixdown file, but in
the audio window (8.) you select these two files and export it anywhere you
want, ie, the same folder or to another folder as a stereo inter-weaved .wav
file that will play as a standard wave file.
Also, rendering, v3.0 only, is a way to make a single file from multiple
objects. Let's say you edit the hell out of a guitar track that had all
kinds of pops and clicks and fret noise or whatever. You select all the
clean edits, render to disc and now have a single track all cleaned up. And
it's fast. Just a couple seconds.
The graphic EQ is cool. Instead of looking at numbers, it's graphed. You
select the type, ie, shelf, bandpass or what ever, grab the node and move it
in freq and boost/cut at the same time. You can close your eyes and listen.
Very easy.
Remember though, v3.0 has PACE and get the Brian T DVD. This is definitely
worth it's price. I think it's $30 or 40 bucks.
