hehehe!!!!!!! thought you'd never ask..........OK then.........first of all,
but 2 x Behringer SRC 2496 boxes from MF for $129.00 each...then
digital out of DAW at 88.2 to digital in of #1 Behringer SRC 2496>
downsample to 44.1 in #1 SRC 2496 and route 44.1 signal to digital in of
outboard processor, send digital out of processor at 44.1 to digital input
of #2 Behringer SRC 2496 and upsample signal to 88.2, then return upsampled
88.2 signal to DAW running at 88.2.
I have the Behringer boxes here. I haven't tried it yet, but according to
what the F'in'M says, this should work. I'll try it after I get a little
further along in patching together my new world of native
insanity......which now includes two Behringer products......which I'll
probably regret, but the only other box that does this is the RME ADI 8-DD
or the RME ADI 8-192, those cost $800 or 1400.00 each respectively and you
have to have two of them. If the Behringers die, I hope it's before 45
days. I have open rack spaces above and below them in case they catch on
fire.
If this works, I'll bet I could buy 6 more of these at a discount and I
would have all of my old digital signal processors integrated with 88.2
projects for under a grand. Now the question is, WTF would I want to do this
when patching analog would probably sound as good or better once all of the
SRC stuff was said and done?
Well, I just had to see if I could pull it off and since my Yardstick
doesn't have AD/DA converters, the Behringer boxes do and will allow me to
patch
it into higher rez projects using their AD/DA's which are surprisingly good
when they work.which is why I got the Behringers in the first place..
;o)

MORE Behringer?
When is your birthday? Because Christmas is too long to wait
for me to send you a fire extinguisher.

LOL
Almost every album I’ve ever loved was mixed analog, therefore all I/O connections
to effects were analog…and I never had a patch cord catch on fire.
