That was pretty much the last time she was able to move around properly.
I'm a little sad I didn't think it was a good idea to throw the ball for
her.

Molly was put to rest Monday last week. She'll be remembered for being a
legend. ;o)

Cheers,

sorry for the twice serving;-))

that the infrastructure and weather in a country have more importance than
all wars for riches and oil, just to take care of the ultra high standards
of living in some places in the world like America and have will to do
something with it.
I saw a documentation program yesterday in Norwegian TV that showed up how
USA now are trying to take control over the oil from WestAfrica, just to see
that China a

I don't know if this is the right documents but I think it's well worth
reading what The White House plans to do with the energy situation for
America in the future: http://www.whitehouse.gov/energy/

>You make an excellent point, Jeremy.

I think it includes cable TV, talk radio and partisan web sites, and
it's fed by "think tanks" who are funded to come up with arguments and
distractions that support particular outlooks, whether they coincide
with reality or not. The products are rationalizations, generalizations,
emotional distractions and even villifications. In other words, politics
as usual.

In the case of TV/radio, for the sake of spectacle extreme positions are
pitted against each other, sometimes without regard for moderate
positions. Or a single extreme position is expounded with the help of
screened callers so that there is no need to be distracted by evidence
or logic that contradicts the particular perspective being rationalized.

In no way do these "entertainment" programs present the full range of
perspectives and facts that would be useful for thoughtful awareness,
although they usually pretend that they do. Major conclusions built on
the basis of what these shows present are likely to be incomplete and
faulty.

Add to that the human tendency to project our own experiences, beliefs
and prejudices onto others, plus our gigantic egos, and you get the kind
of self-righteous certainty that justifies rudeness to others while
ironically obsfuscating the quest for truth. Also, there's something
about communicating via text that allows people to be rude in ways they
probably wouldn't be if they were together in an actual room.

In 20 years? Good question.

Cheers,
-Jamie K

Sheesh, and here I thought that we were all americans. Seems like
I had the silly idea that King was right, and we would not be

Did you ever think that the white and black and brown et al folks

My dislike for Bush is of the highest level-he is a disconnected Liar and
it will always be a time of crisis with him in office.
the only person I dislike more is Cheney.he actually knows the
evil he is causing and doesn't give a shit.
All these people do is Lie and they don;t care if they do/
Just to spin it their way. I'm not saying that the mayor, gov,
aren't at fault-I'm saying leadership starts at the top and
we have a lousy leader.
as far as all the other shit you said about me-well i could care
less
JMHow many of you support the backwards US flag on the military?

Personally I dont buy it. If the flag is supposed to flow in the wind,
they should have put the patch on the left shoulder.

Messing with the flag alignment just doesn't seem logical to me... in fact
I find it disgusting.

Of course the Bush apologists will think a backwards flag is fine. Sorry
but I've never seen any other empire reverse their flag before on a uniform.
Excuse me if it seems unnatural. Please dont blame it on Michael Moore or
Howard Dean.Don, I said it with a smile;-) There wasn't any harm or attack at all in it,
so why should I be ashamed?-)
By the way, do you find anything in the "National Energy Policy" about the
American oil future? You see, I havn't read it yet, so I don't know what it
have to say.

that being said....Fuck You- Just Cron.

so you're quoting Kim and simultaneously disgregarding his request.

LOL...

you're a clown pal... in fact I seriously have no idea who you are or what
you do or how long you've been around, so your words carry ZERO weight with
me.Has any of it accomplished anything?

Any minds changed? And new friends made?

Any of the poor victims of Katrina helped?

Nah...

I'm off to go enjoy some sun, pick some apples.

When I get back, I will bang on the guitar a while, and hit the heavy
bag, maybe work on some lyrics.

There's gots to be something better to do with our time.

DCTo my knowledge, you, me and Bill Lorentzen are the only ones here who use
these plugins. I hve the hardware card and the DX plugins. They are indeed
great stuff.

The point is Cron, insulting and calling a user on
this newsgroup a name is uncalled for. Someone like Doug,
who is very kind and helpful to all of us, doesn't deserve
that. Nobody does.
Right now, it's a little bit bigger then our
political leanings.

Been here since 1998, believe me, if i wanted to get to know
you..... you would know me.

This isn't a conversation, i'm done posting, it's a waste
of time.
For those i offended, i apologize.

That makes them too wonderful working with Paris without needing to
compensate for latencies.
Same goes for Sonalksis plugz too, zero latency also.

ruffle some feathers and make yourself heard. Congratulations!

I never sold an EDS, you dumb fuck. (sorry Kim)Cron,

I've known Michael for a while. He's a friend and an incredible talent. Same
with Claytor. We go way back. Their support for me has nothing to do with
whether they agree with my political thinking. I know that for sure. I would
defend them, and you too, if something like this started up with someone's
name in a thread.

We've both pissed in the pool and stirred up a mess here. I think this is
more about that in the bigger picture.

You and I have buried the hatchet now. I don't want to see this get started
again or have it get any uglier.

For the sake of this group, let's all call a truce,
.........................please.

ystem drive that is FAT32, the Fat 32 drive will not be able to
read the NTFS drive. Since all my HD's on my Paris system are FAT32, I
format my WinXP drives on my Cubase DAW FAT32 also so they can all see each
other.

>I've posted before about using Cubase SX and Paris in a doubleDAW mix
scenario. One of the *issues* with this is that files are being processed at
32 bit in SX and then lightpiped over the 20 bit feed to Paris.

I have done some critical listening on this and I discovered that cumulative
quantization errors when streaming many tracks while truncating from 32 bit
float through a 20 bit digital feed was creating some harshness in the
1-2kHz frequency range.

To solve this, I found a very flexible dither algo and have instantiated it
on every channel of my Cubase mix template. Now each track is being dithered
as it is passed from SX to Paris. I'm mixing a small project that I tracked
yesterday. What I'm hearing at the end of the songs as they fade sounds just
like tape hiss. I used mostly class A, solid state preamps on
