Showed up this morn for a heavy day of tracking, I notice the Paris box
frozen stiff, hard reset, then box wont even boot, all fan and HD spinning
but no beeps. I reset the AGP and PCI cards and the computer comes back to
life but my displays have all changed resolution and the Matrox 450 will not
let me set them back to 1280 x 1024, tells me to check my device manager
which is fine, no flags anywhere. Meanwhile, the client shows up and starts
to warm up in the booth. I whip out the old Norton boot diskette and re-load
an image from Jan 10th. Back in business, displays are fine and the client
never even noticed. Lesson to be learnt, ghosting is your friend.....!!
