Hey guys gotta question about the FXpansion wrapper thing. Is this just for UAD -> Paris or is this a good VST wrapper for other purposes?

I recently purchased CD Architect (CDA) 5.2 for red book CD writing and unfortunately Sony hasn't moved to the 21st century yet in the VST support. Sony recommends purchasing the wrapper that is used by Cakewalk, but I am not too keen on purchasing a wrapper for using something I already have. I would like to use my UAD-2 plugins in the CDA.

I did google free wrappers, but the few I found I can't figure out. The directions/instructions are written by someone from outer space or something...

Hopefully I understand the basics. The purpose of the VST Wrapper is to allow a host program to use the VST plugins like a DirectX plugin. Is that correct? If this FXpansion could work with my CDA, I would put the .dll in the audio (plugin) folder. But how would I see my UAD-2 VST plugins? They'll show up in this wrapper window? Just trying to understand a little better.
