No...main editor window..just highlight the track(s) and render, exept,before
you do, set the record path to where you want it, and select "wave" as the
output file .
You could also do a save audio file as (this would be in the audio window)
and select wave there.
Or select "export audio object" in the audio window, and select wave. The
top 2 methods work if your dealing with 16 bit files, which is my understanding
of what your doing...right???
If you are dealing with 24 bit files you have to use method 3.
Macro express works great for automating these tasks.

I thought there needn't be an extra step.
Render to the correct folder and you're done.
