following my previous posts about my error 2/2, problem solved...........bad
pin on the MEC cable!

thanks to all who tried to help.....now for a basic (ish) question.

Its been a while since I used paris so I'm slightly rusty on some elements.
My MEC has:

2x 8 in
2x 8 out
2x ADAT

now, obviously with one card, I can only use 4 modules at once (2in, 2out)
because only one submix is 'live'. If I add another card (but not another
MEC), can I address the other inputs/outputs becuase I can have 2 'live'
submixes (and in the patch bay get MEC modules A and B).

basically, I want to be able to monitor (in 'live mix' mode) more than 16
channels at once. can I do it with 2 cards and one MEC, or do I need 2
cards and 2 MECs
