Oh man . . . 19 years ago . . . ow . . . OK, I'll do my best. I know we had
a Yamaha TX802 and an RX5 drum machine. And there was a little tiny noisy
Roland box that we should never have used, don't remember the model. Oh,
wait . . . MT32. Ick. Then there was a borrowed sampler that I think was an
Akai S1000. I think. Might've been an Emu sumpnerother. But I think it
was the Akai. And Hybrid Arts SMPTEtrack running it all on the Atari
1040ST. I dragged my friend Brenda in to do the vocals. She'd never been
in a studio before, and was really nervous, but she did OK.
I was addicted to midi for about 5 years there, and became something of a
recluse. I've recovered now and much prefer to work with humans, in spite
of all the problems that come with them. :)

I still have my Atari, too. I even dug it out and fired it up a few years
ago so I could export all those SMPTEtrack song files as midi files to use
in Cubase.
Thanks for the compliments. The concept was to try to do each song in a
completely different style, so it was a fun arranging exercise. There were
15 songs on the original cassette release, but some will never again be
allowed out in public. :)
