Anyone ever had an issue with one of these? I'm getting sound out the
headphone outputs but the back panel outputs (xlr and RCA) are dead.

If course the night before a session when I am just about to head to work.

Check the internal jumpers -- I think I've heard of these coming loose
and causing something like this -- and/or call Benchmark.

Good luck!

Graham,

THanks...I'll check them when I get home tonight. Didn't want to break
into the case unless there was something non-saudered to look at.
Anyhing specific to look for?

Jeff,

There's a switch on the back that sets the unit to calibrated (the up
position) or variable (the down position). If it's set to calibrated, the
volume pot has no effect on the output levels of the XLR or RCA thought the
front headphone outs will still be controlled by the volume pot. If it's set
to variable, the XLR and RCA outputs will be controlled by the volume pot
along with the front headphone outs. You might try flipping that switch up
and down a couple of times and see if that bridges some Gremlin'esque
synapse FU. Also, if this switch is set to variable and the volume pot on
the front of the unit is rolled all the way off, you won't hear anything
from the XLR or RCA outs.

Good luck,

Deej

DJ,

THat was it... feel really "newbie" for not catching it, but I'd rather
feel stupid than do something that causes a need for a express shipment
to the factory!

THanks again,
Hoov
