Hey guys,

Check out this Nashville up & comer's website. These are some artist demos
we did about three months ago. Her music page has some downloadable "hi
rez" mp3s. And not only is she an attractive gal, she was very sweet and
personable, too.

Music sounds very very nice. You might want to mention to Charla that a) her
web site almost made me seasick it was moving so much and b) lots of people
with credit cards and drinking problems (who buy CDs and go to clubs) don't
use browsers with all kinds of dynamic html and pop-ups enabled.

Some day the entire interet will be myspace pages and people like me will
go back to using quill pens.

Great job Chris! Excellent drum sounds and everything seems to sit very nicely
in the mix.

I'm inspired!

Chris,
Really great mixes. I love the toms and snare. As others have said,
everything seems to have its "place." Very impressive.
Hats off,

Nice job, DeWd! :) Really great sounds & mixes... is the
rhythm guitar on: "If it Mattered to Me" a modeled tone, or at
least recorded direct? Just wondering - it has that kind of
characteristic.

What was your signal chain for her voice? It's a nice straight-
ahead vocal tone without any over-coloration of any kind.

As other people have mentioned, nice choices on sounds overall
across the board on all the cuts... "It Don't Help" is my
personal fave, I think.

Neil

Impressive studio work.

And not bad songwriting on that first tune.

I agree on the over-active website. That's just too much bandwidth-chewing

Thanks, Neil.

Mike Durham played all the electric stuff thru an amp, though I can't
remember what kind of amp, mic'ed with a 57. Jason Roller played a Larivee
acoustic mic'ed with a Studer stereo mic. The vocals they carried over to
Nashville's Quad Studios to record, and I'm not sure of what mic they used,
but I do know they used a Neve pre and an LA2A comp.
