Neil, it's gonna be between 10 and 11 each way from Tulsa... pick you up on
the way if you're in the area? NO farting in the car though, LOL.... well,
you can't anyway. My car, I get butt trumpet privs.
It'll be worth every minute of it. Besides, I have to get the heck away from
this day gig for a while!

If you can drive there from Tulsa, that means that you and Mr. Snortyhorse
can race each other since he'll be driving across Kansas.....of course, when
you get on I70 to drive across Kansas, it's like trying to walk the wrong
way on one of those airport belt driven walkways. Seems like for every mile
you travel at 60MPH, you only go about 1/2 mile. Last summer when I drove
across Kansas I didn't want to stop because I had the sensation that when I
did, I was moving backward in time.

Where's Idaho Springs? We could probably just all go there and crash the
gig....especially if it's a private party.

Because we can, and we should. For me it's about making a trip up to meet
all these dudes I've known over the net for years but never had the
priviledge to have met in person.
It'll be a cool hang.

Here is the venue I'm playing:
http://www.bakerstreetpub.com/Main.aspx
This is the band:
http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewpro file&friendID=7999102
Lakewood is right next to Denver, just a couple miles from downtown.
I have to stay and play until late but if ya'll want to head out to
check out John's gig later, Idaho Springs is up in the hills a little
ways out of Denver. I'm guessing 30-40 minutes from Lakewood.
Cheers,
-Jamie

I talked to Dedric and Aaron about this earlier tonight. The purpose of this
is to just get outta' town and hang out with friends. . I had a feeling that
the working musicians would be gigging on Saturday night. I wouldn't have a
problem reschedulling this for a weekend where you and John were free. I
know Dedric also has some weekend things that would require some advance
notice. I'll likely be driving up on a Friday and spending the night in
Boulder before heading south to Denver. there are some places I want to
visit in/around Boulder, but that could be *any* Friday.
Is there a time/date that would work so everyone could get together?

Hanging out sounds great. I'm not gigging on the 4th, and I could meet
up in Boulder no prob if you're there that weekend. The 5th is pretty
busy but I'm free for dinner if it's not too far from the gig in Lakewood.
The weekend of the 11th/12th looks good right now, so far I'm not booked
that weekend and am pretty flexible both days to meet up in Denver or
Boulder.
My gig schedule is at www.JamieKrutz.com/upcomingshows.html
Cheers,
-Jamie

Oh man, I actually have a live Paris recording gig in Co. Springs the 3rd
and 4th. I'm flying from there to San Francisco
on the 5th for a drumming gig. That almost worked for me.
