Maybe..........if the old and new mobo uses the VIA chipset. I have =
moved system drives from a mobos running VIA chipsets to mobo's (same =
same or different brands) running newer versions of VIA chipsets and it =
was as simple as just loading the new dirvers. I have never had any luck =
moving from a VIA chipset to any other chipset and have never tried this =
with any other kind of other *older to newer* versiuon of chipset other =
than VIA. It might be worth a try if you're moving from an older mobo =
with something like an older NForce to a newer NForce chipset, but be =
sure to Ghost (or whatever backup you use) first, just in case. If =
you're swapping chipsets, do a clean install.

Not sure how far you are into this thing, but you can do it and I have =
done it many times. Just install the new motherboard and when windows =
begins to boot it will begin installing the new hardware for your new =
motherboard. All the stuff it can't find drivers for it will put an =
exclamation point by in the device manager. Just go on the internet or =
find your disks and load the drivers for the stuff it couldn't install. =
Also, if you are using Windows XP you will have to call in and explain =
to them what your doing (it will give you the number to call). Just tell =
them you changed motherboards, read them a bunch of numbers off the =
screen, they will read you a bunch of numbers to plug in, and your off.
